We have had this new washer for almost a month. Unlike our previous whirlpool, this washer allows you use use enough water to get a good wash. My last one, I had to add two gallons of water to it just to cover the dry clothes. We like the auto fill option that adjusts water level.

I purchased at the high praise of salesman who proved I could wash a king sized comforter by showing me in store how it fit. When I washed just one king sized comforter sheet it had it so twisted and nearly knotted I was sick. I called speed queen who brushed me off back to retailer. Then told me the manual is online that says do not wash king comforter. Well excuse me, I'm 70, my life is not on the computer and I did not know the manual was online. Only after having the machine delivered when I read the manual that came with it did I learn that - when it was too late. The tub is not big enough to wash much of anything.

My wife does laundry like its an Olympic sport. After having our last set of Whirlpool washer and dryer not even last 4 years (waster blew the bearing) it was time to invest on a set that will do what it's supposed to do when you want it to with peace of mind. After much consideration I decided to purchase the Speed Queen TR7 washer and the DR7 dryer. The Speed Queen washer and dryer are top notch. The quality is evident and the clothes are much cleaner. The washer and dryer are very efficient with customizable options for each load. When I did the math my previous 3 sets of washer and dryers averaged about 3.4 years! Decided on the TR7 and DR7 based on durability and the seven year warranty. Even though the capacity for the washer is smaller than my previous washer, it hasn't been an issue. Decided on the white set based on my decor but the black matte set is really nice. Worth every penny!

I'm overjoyed that I took a leap of faith to invest in the Speed Queen TR7. I was a loyal Mayt*g customer until top-load out of balance issues became a nightmare. Some things I truly love about my TR7 are: -The set it and forget it peace of mind. -Quiet, efficient operation with no glitches. -Excellent options to choose my water level and cycle time based on my load type. -Solid construction, and no out of balance issues! -The time and peace I gained back in my life to not deal with washing machine drama. In all fairness, it does cost a little more as I often choose a heavy duty load with a full tank water fill. I did see a little increase in my water bill, but in my book, time is money and I have saved so much time in my life with a washing machine that does its job without interruption. This equates to less time fussing with machine flaws, and more time to do what I love. Thank you, Speed Queen!😘

It's ok , It Doesn't get clothes clean for example white socks worn once for an 8 hour medical assistant shift. They don't get white, even when I goggled as People said wash on heavy duty cycle. I tired all cycles the clothes don't get clean. It doesn't wash comforters without "tilting" machine where machine stops cus it's unbalanced. It's loud so is the dryer. It washes load quickly not taking forget like the LG. It's not great the SQ brand or the model I got.

Quiet, stable (no unbalanced "walking"). Ever washed a king size comforter with no issues. Spins very thoroughly and doesn't beat up the clothes. I've had every major brand over the past 20 years. Maytag arrived DOA. Whirlpool failed at 2 years. GE was NOISY! A friend recommended Speed Queen and Jessups Appliances in Port Charlotte, FL had what I wanted both on display and in stock! Next day delivery and sooooo hassle free. Great sales team (they both owned Speed Queen) and the service team had them installed in 20 minutes. Wonder purchase and ownership experience. And the washer is superb.

I did lots of research before purchasing a new washer & dryer. Speed Queen was the most comparable to my old Kenmore units. We chose it for the warranty, ease of repair (if needed), quality, reliability, prior reviews and while I was a bit concerned about the capacity, it has been more than adequate. I really enjoy the flexibility of the options, and I feel my clothes are getting clean, not to mention the quietness of the washer. I also felt really cared for by my local appliance dealer and we have even stopped in with follow up questions.

Since purchasing this washer, I've noticed a consistent and troubling issue: it is damaging our clothing. Items come out with tears and holes that were definitely not there before washing. This has happened across a range of fabrics-from cotton sheets, towels to leggings. Clothes looks old and worn. The agitator and drum have been replaced but the issue remains. We've carefully followed all recommended guidelines, including proper load sizes, appropriate cycles, and correct detergent use. A washing machine should clean clothes-not destroy them. Speed Queen markets itself as a premium, commercial-grade brand known for reliability but in reality this washer has proven to be overly aggressive and poorly suited for normal household use. I would not recommend this product to anyone who values their clothing. At this point, I regret the purchase and would strongly encourage others to consider alternative brands that prioritize both cleaning performance and fabric care. Remember that the machine cannot be returned and unfortunately the issue cannot be fixed. I am attaching more recent pictures of the damage.

After years of battling it out with a Samsung that never seemed to get enough water into my laundry I bit the bullet and bought my speed queen. Best decision I ever made! I get it….you can walk into a big box store and take home a washer dryer set for the cost of 1 speed queen appliance and we all work hard for our money. With that in mind I reverted to the buy once cry once philosophy so yes it did sting the wallet but once I got home and installed it I'm pretty sure I won't cry about the cost for several years because it's already exceeded my expectations. Take clothes cleaned by your previous brand mine was a top loader that used a computer to control the water height then run them through your speed queen either on auto fill or top off the drum, look at the water through the wash cycle then you'll understand. Between soap being left in your clothes to not enough water to get them clean it will be evident in the wash water.

The machine is very quiet and washes well. however, it leaves fabric softener in the bottom of the tub after a wash if you use the "normal eco" cycle. Surely there is a way to remedy that, other than just adding lots of water in the softener dispenser.

My expectations were high given the reviews and info I've received from others but I've had issues with the fact that there is no soap dispenser. You have to put the soap in, start the cycle, then add your clothes or else you end up with blue soap stains on everything. It's a real pain in the rear to have to add a couple more steps to every laundry cycle.
